Market Match

WIC-FMNP, EBT & MARKET MATCH MAKE FRESH FOOD AFFORDABLE

PCFMA's farmers' markets accept WIC-FMNP coupons for families, seniors, and CalFresh-EBT. If you receive WIC-FMNP you can spend it with any farmers in a PCFMA farmers' market just like cash. To use your CalFresh-EBT benefits, visit the farmers' market information booth and talk to the Market Manager or helpful volunteer. While you are there, ask about how Market Match can help stretch your food dollars even further.

DOUBLE YOUR CALFRESH/EBT DOLLARS WITH MARKET MATCH!

Market Match makes putting more fresh fruits and vegetables on your family’s table easy. You can double your budget for fresh fruits and vegetables, and now for a limited time, up to an additional $15 per farmers’ market visit, when you make a purchase with your CalFresh/EBT (food stamp) card at your PCFMA farmers’ market.

Do you have Senior or WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) checks? Have them matched $5 for $10 check at the farmers market!

Market Match

Everyone in the San Francisco Bay Area should have access to fresh produce. We’re proud to be part of the California Market Match Consortium dedicated to making locally-grown fruits and vegetables more affordable for CalFresh (food stamp) recipients.

By helping to stretch the CalFresh safety net benefits, Market Match makes it easier to choose fruits and veggies over processed foods. At the same time, you’re directly supporting our Northern and Central California family farms and their businesses for a healthy local food system. Thank you!

The California Market Match Consortium is managed by the Ecology Center, Market Match is available at farmers’ markets throughout the Bay Area and the state of California. Each market has its own distinct tokens and may have a different matching amount. Market Match is funded in part through the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) and the USDA’s National Institute for Food and Agriculture.
