Also known as Chinese cabbage, bok choy is a staple in Asian cooking and can most commonly be found in soups, stir-fries, or noodle dishes. Unlike standard cabbages, the head of the plant is soft, and has leaf blades that form a cluster similar to that of celery plants.
Not only is this tasty green high in vitamin A, vitamin C, and calcium, it also low in calories. Whether it’s steamed, boiled, or sautéed, bok choy is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
