Resendiz Farms

Farm Size: 100 acres
We grow apricots, peaches, and nectarines, to be followed in the months to come by plums, pluots, apriums, and tomatoes. In the late summer we bring melons and grapes, dried fruits and nuts.

I was brought to the US to work the fields, then returned home for short while, where I was discouraged about not finding a job I could believe in. One day I saw a logo that said “Agriculture Feeds the World” and I was inspired to start my own farm. I saved every penny I could and finally bought some acreage and planted fruit orchards.

Finally, in 1988, ready to harvest, I was able to open the Resendiz Family Fruit Barn, with one cooler and a small roadside stand. Soon I realized he was doing well enough on the farm to expand to a full shop. I now have a retail shop in Hughson that offers all the wonderful produce we grow. In addition, we sell at many Bay Area farmers’ markets throughout the year with produce that spans the seasons, such as tomatoes, melons, grapes, dried fruits and nuts, and pumpkins.

We love to go to all the farmers’ markets! We have been going to farmers’ markets for over 20 years! We always try our best to bring the freshest fruit to each one.”

We take special care to select and grow specific crop varieties where flavor is the focus, with a focused determination to bring the best-tasting produce to market! We sell produce that is pesticide-free and sustainably-grown, ensuring that they maintain healthy communities.
